2008 Travel Registration Instructions

Registration for all Hyde Park Soccer programs is done via the internet.  For travel soccer the internet portion begins, but does not complete the registration process.  Follow these instructions to ensure that you complete and supply all the documentation to allow the travel registration of you son or daughter to be successfully completed.

1)   Begin by going to the registration website at http://www.sportssignup.com/hydeparksoccer.

2)   If this is your first time there you will have to create a family account.  This requires your e-mail address and a password of your choosing.  Subsequent visits require your e-mail address and password to sign in to your family account.  If you forget the password you can have it e-mailed to you.

3)   The first time you sign in you must also add general information such as your address, phone number, and emergency contacts to your account.  If this information changes it can be edited at anytime.  This information should be kept up to date.

4)   Next your children who are playing Hyde Park Soccer are added one at a time by clicking the “Add Children” button.   The information required to add a child is the name, birthday, and medical information.  This information can also be edited should you need to change the medical information.  Additional children can be added at anytime.

5)   Once a child is successfully added he or she can be registered for a soccer program.  Begin by clicking the “REGISTER” button.   This will bring you to another page where you can select the Travel Soccer program for the 2008-2009 season.  Select the “Register to Play” button which will bring you to a page where the division and team are selected using the drop down boxes.  A comment can also be added here.

6)   You are then brought to the consent page.  Please read the medical release, the Recognition of Transfer By-Laws and Player Binding agreement, and the Parents Code of Conduct Agreement.   If you do not agree with ANY of these agreements then you should not register to play Hyde park or EHYSL travel soccer.  If you do agree you should supply your consent and continue with the registration process.

7)   You are then brought to the payment page.  The fee for travel soccer for teams U-11 and younger is $130 and the fee for teams U-12 and older is $200.  All registrations are also subject to an additional $10 fund raising surcharge which is done on a one surcharge per family basis.  This should be automatically handled by the registration system.   Payment can be done with a MasterCard, Visa, or by check.  Those paying the $200 fee by check  have the option of making two payments.  Payment 1 or the only payment is required by June 25 and payment 2 is required by Aug 20.  Checks should be mailed to Mark Bendyk at the address at the bottom of this page.  Include the registration number that the system assigns you on your check.

8)   Once you have paid you will be brought to the post payment screen which gives you further instructions on the steps you have to take to allow the travel soccer registration to be completed. The web portion of the registration has now been completed.  The post payment instructions are repeated below.

To complete your part of the registration you must also complete all of the items in the list below and deliver them to your coach or the travel registar.   Only then can the travel registar forward your registration to the East Hudson Youth Soccer League which will complete the registration process and allow your son or daughter to play in travel games.   Please give these items your prompt attention.

  • A wallet sized picture of the player (a school picture is fine) must be supplied.  Please write the players name, Hyde Park, and player's team on the rear of the picture.
  • The medical release form which is to be printed out, signed, and brought to the child's coach prior to the first practice or game.  A signed original of this form is required at tryouts for players that are new to Hyde Park Soccer.  Returning players may have completed this form for the next season at tryouts.  Click here for a PDF version of the medical release form which you can print.
  • For players new to Hyde Park travel soccer, a copy of the player’s birth certificate is also required.

Please deliver these items to your coach or send them to the Hyde Park travel registar:
